Overview
We’ve joined the Amazon Web Services Nova Partner Competition, a global showcase focused on building innovative, production-ready applications using Amazon’s latest foundation models, Nova, delivered through Bedrock.
Why It Matters
This competition isn’t just a product demo. It’s a proving ground for real-world applications of agentic AI architectures. We’ve entered with a solution built on top of actual deployments in the financial services space, where intelligent systems must navigate ambiguity, regulation, and legacy workflows.
Our submission is purpose-built to show how generative AI, when applied with discipline and a clear architecture, can solve messy, high-stakes business problems, not just generate text.
What is Amazon Nova?
Amazon Nova is AWS’s latest family of foundation models, optimized for enterprise performance and efficiency. Nova models are now available via Amazon Bedrock and come with notable advantages:
- Fast, low-latency responses
- Lower cost per token compared to other top models
- Seamless integration with Bedrock Agents for automated decision-making
While others might default to ChatGPT or Claude, we’re betting on the AWS-native stack. It’s a natural fit for how we already operate.
The Use Case
Human review is expensive, slow, and often limited by domain knowledge, especially in the financial services space. This is a classic case where traditional generative AI breaks down vague inputs, complex domain logic, and deeply structured regulatory nuance.
Our Solution
We’re deploying an agentic AI architecture using:
- Amazon Nova via Bedrock as the foundation model
- Bedrock Agents to handle orchestration and goal-oriented reasoning
- Lambda, Redshift Serverless, and OpenSearch to connect internal knowledge, structured data, and real- time context
The system automatically ingests contract documents, flags risky or unusual clauses, suggests mitigation language, and links to supporting precedent from across prior agreements and regulations. We’re building custom tools for both structured and unstructured knowledge representation to feed into the system.
Why Nova Matters Here
Nova enables us to do more in the same inference window. Its performance means we can process more contract triggers, propose better language, and reduce the time from review to recommendation. That’s not just nice to have. In regulated environments with tight deadlines, it’s a strategic edge.
What’s at Stake? Stay Tuned.
Winners of the Amazon Nova Partner Competition will receive up to $100,000 in AWS credits, opportunities to demo at re:Invent, and inclusion in Amazon’s GenAI competency partner network. Even semifinalists gain GTM support and visibility.
For us, it’s more than the prize. It’s a chance to show that Red Oak Strategic isn’t just keeping up with GenAI. We’re actively shaping how it’s applied in the enterprise. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about what we built, how it performs, and what we’re learning. If you’re looking to deploy real-world generative AI, grounded in your data, aligned with your business logic, we should talk.
